Wigs For Kids

The last grand event that went on this winter was the hair donation! I donated to an organization called Wigs For Kids. They make wigs specifically for kids with cancer. And their website has a ton of information with no details left out, which I really liked. I know there are some other hair donation organizations that make a very large profit for themselves while only giving about five percent of the hair to the kids. Many organizations have been caught selling the hair as expensive hair extensions to beauty salons. I wanted to make sure I did not give to a company like this. It is so important to do your research when making any kind of investment in a company!

The lovely Becca Bishop gave me the haircut and did a wonderful job despite my changing of heart midway. And Levi took the pictures and surprisingly stayed strong and made me continue to go through with it even when I had doubts! This is shocking. Here are the photos Levi took.

These first two pictures the before pictures Levi took.

This is the before picture on dooms day.(the trash bag ensemble reminded Levi of the fashion blogs I look at. We had to take a picture)

Starting the Process:

ALL GONE

The Final Product: (This is typically how you would see me wearing it)

This is a really poor representation of what it looks like down because this photo was taken after a full day of travel. But, you get the point.

And lastly, this is the reason I do this. This picture was taken from the Wigs For Kids website
