I think I am allergic to math

One of my summer school classes is math. yippee. It is three hours a day (10am-1pm) for four days a week (Mon-Th) but only a total of five weeks! Well, I think I am allergic. For my entire life I have always thought I am only allergic to penicillin. All my life, until two weeks ago. My body decided that was too easy. The worst part about this allergic reaction is this might be the first math class I have ever slightly enjoyed! My professor is hilarious (I don't think it is intentional) but he is a funny guy to listen to. I actually understand what we are doing (probably because I took this class sophomore yr. of high school). and the 18 year old fella's of the class always flock to my corner asking for help making me feel so smart and pretty (JK, ...they are at least 19). Oh, allergic reactions go away.

The first weeek I started to get bloody noses. ONLY DURING MATH. At 11am sharp every morning I would have to jump out of my seat and sprint to the bathroom to stop this waterfall of nasty coming out of my nose. It got so bad that on Thursday, the one day I didn't have one right at 11, my professor actually made a break at 11. When I didn't jump out of my seat and run he came and asked me, "You no need break today?" (he is foreign) I said "no my nose is not bleeding" and he says, "Everyday you need break now, I make this just for you and now you no take it". So I apologized and walked out of the room. I never got a bloody nose outside of math of course.

Last week, the bloody noses stopped. Thank goodness. BUT THEN, I started getting cough attacks every hour! So the routine continued. I would feel a great cough coming on, jump out of my seat and run to find a drinking fountain. These cough attacks would sometimes last up to ten minutes! Seriously throat? I would not cough for the rest of the day of course. Only in math.

Now it's this week. The bloody noses have gone. The cough attacks have gone. Not to fear, a sinus infection is here! We are talking full on with green boogers and everything. Yup, I look really great when I have snot dripping down my face. What a lady. Luckily green is my favorite color. And it never fails, when I leave that class room, my nose is fine for the remainder of the day. I just can't wait to see what next week brings.
